I first took an interest in semi permanent make-up in 2010 when I first had my eyes defined with semi-permanent eyeliner, shortly after I went on to have my eyebrows tattooed. Both of these procedures completely changed and framed my face. My eyebrows had been over plucked in the past and I had to pencil my brows on daily. Having my brows tattooed gave me confidence, as well as more time in my day. If you are reading this you may be someone who also pencils/powders their eyebrows on and will understand how time consuming this can be to get them perfect.
My eyelashes are quite sparse on my lower lash line; I had a very thin line tattooed through the bulbs of the lashes, this gave definition to my eyes with a very natural look. If I desire to go thicker I can just top up with my pencil as and when I wish. After I had had both of the procedures above, I thoroughly researched and visited the different training academies in England, to find out what each one provided with regards to their training in micro-pigmentation. As the training was a huge investment both financially and time wise, I wanted to make sure I studied the leading training schools to find the best one from a clinical (Hygiene) point of view to the technique side of things.
I chose to train with Natural Enhancement who are one of the leading training schools in the U.K. I was also educated by the founder and director of Natural Enhancement – Tracey Simpson, who resourcefully passed on all of her knowledge and latest techniques to me.
