Permanent make up isn't intended to replace cosmetics completely. The colours for Brows, Eyeliner, Lips or Beauty Spots are placed 'in' the skin, not 'on' the skin, thus creating a softer more natural look.
Straight after the initial treatment is completed the pigments in the skin will look a lot darker to how they will eventually settle. Some people like this initial 'bold' look, and are concerned when the colour settles into the skin, which is why it is important to attend for a 'touch-up' appointment, between 4 - 12 weeks after the initial treatment.
On the other hand some clients panic when they initially have a treatment, and think that the colour is too dark. Everyone must understand that the colour is fresh and the skin has accepted a pigment into the dermal layer, so it will look bold, this colour will fade between 40- 70% as the skin cells re-new over 4 weeks.
When the client returns for the second 'touch up' appointment, we discuss what is needed with regards to colour and areas that need to be touched up, to produce a natural finish.
Youthfulyoubeauty.com likes to work with the clients natural features by enhancing them. I don't like to create problems for clients later down the line, which is why I would advise starting with natural semi-permanent make up and 'topping up' using your own make up for special events or nights out.
If you want to look your best 24/7, without the worry of panda eyes, wonky eyeliner and smudged lipstick, contact me for a no obligation free consultation about how you may benefit from semi-permanent make-up.
